➀ Snout length
The photo should be taken from above. The tape measure or ruler must be placed 1CM from the eyes.

➁ Snout width
The photo should be taken from above. The tape measure or ruler should be placed under the snout, at its widest point. Be careful not to flatten the lips, as this will distort the measurement.

3. Open mouth
The photo should be taken from the side, with the mouth wide open. The tape measure or ruler should be placed at the top of the snout and extend to the underside of the chin.

③ Open mouth
It is possible to take this photo when the dog is holding a toy in its mouth.

➂ Open mouth
If you cannot take the photo with an open mouth, it is possible to take it with a closed mouth. Warning: this method is less accurate and should only be used as a last resort.

➃ Cheek width
The photo should be taken from above. The tape measure or ruler must be placed halfway between the ears and eyes.
